Salty Saba Digital Image License

Effective date: October 29, 2026

This license applies to the finished JPEG images identified in your completed Salty Saba digital order, including an authorized coupon order with a zero-dollar total. It is granted by Hermann Mitchell Associates, LLC, doing business as Salty Saba MD (“Salty Saba”). Copyright is retained by Tom Bledsoe, who authorizes Salty Saba to license these images. It does not apply to gallery previews, images you have not ordered, or RAW and other source files.

Photographs and videos delivered under a separate photography-service agreement are governed by that agreement; this license does not replace it or grant rights in video.

1  Personal use permission

Once the order is completed and any amount due is paid, you receive a nonexclusive, worldwide license to use the delivered images for your own personal, noncommercial purposes for the duration of copyright, subject to this license. You may save and back up the files, display them on personal devices, make prints and photo books for personal use or personal gifts, and post them on your personal, noncommercial social media accounts.

You may give files to a print lab solely to make your permitted personal prints. You may give physical prints as personal gifts. Except for that limited service-provider use, you may not distribute the full-resolution files, transfer the license, or grant others independent rights to use the images without our written permission. Sharing a personal social post is permitted; publishing a downloadable image library is not.

2  Copyright and limits

Copyright remains with the photographer or other rightful copyright owner. This license transfers no copyright, exclusive ownership, or ownership of the underlying image. Salty Saba grants only the rights it owns or is authorized to license. Rights not expressly granted remain with the rights holder, subject to uses independently permitted by law.

Without a separate written license, you may not sell the files or reproductions, offer them as stock images, sublicense them, use them on merchandise for sale, or use them in advertising, sponsorships, business websites, business social accounts, or other commercial promotions. A fishing charter, captain, sponsor, brand, or publication needs separate permission for its own use. A print purchase does not include commercial or fine-art reproduction rights.

3  Edits and credit

You may resize, crop, or compress the delivered images as reasonably needed for permitted personal display, sharing, and printing, provided any included Salty Saba logo, copyright notice, or watermark remains intact and visible.

Other changes, including filters, retouching, compositing, or AI-generated alterations, require our prior written permission. Do not remove, obscure, crop out, or alter an included logo, copyright notice, or watermark, falsely claim authorship, or misrepresent an altered image as our original work.

A Salty Saba photo credit is appreciated when practical, but is not required for otherwise permitted personal use. For an editing request or permission, contact SaltySabaMD@gmail.com.

4  People and privacy

This is a copyright license, not a model release, property release, or promise that every depicted person or property is cleared for every use. Respect other people’s privacy and obtain any permission required for your intended use. Buying or downloading an image does not give Salty Saba permission to use your likeness in advertising or a portfolio. Any permission for that use is separate from this license.

5  Duration and questions

A gallery or download-link expiry does not end this license. If you materially violate it, we may require you to stop the unauthorized use and pursue remedies available under applicable law. A refund that cancels a digital purchase also ends the license for those refunded images unless we agree otherwise; stop using and delete your copies, except as needed for legal records. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
